Re: A shiver ran down her spine and she turned to look at where Same had rolled through. The portal which had been humming softly and glowing had suddenly stopped. Her heart sank and she fell to her knees, tears burning at her eyes. Her world went dark and she wasn't sure what was happenign but she heard someone screaming out their despair... was it her? The voice cracked and she knew it must have been her, as her hands gripped the rubble on teh ground, bits of building cutting into her skin as she squeezed it. It's all your fault... Your friends are trapped here and its all your fault. You and your stupid plans, they never work, you only get people hurt... First it was Abby and now its everyone here who cared about you. You're just a useless yellow gem, and this is what happens when you get lofty ideas. You were meant to be nothing. She curled up as she felt some phantom pain bursting through her body, hands clutching her sides she tried to hold herself together Its all your fault The little litwick nudged her and she flinched You're useless... and everyone will hate you All of that work for a new life on this station... and here she was again... getting people in danger....

Same: He opened his eyes slowly when he heard Themis' voice. "I'm...alright. Just...tired." When she moved his head into her lap, he grinned. Maybe this little planet'll be like a vacation or something? He loved the darkness here. Not exactly the ocean, but it had its perks. He heard Quinton call to him and he lifted his forearm to wave lazily. "So, anyway...how's it comin' on the portal-person search, Re?" As if on cue, the portal was suddenly flooded by ghosts hurrying back onto the planet. Same lurched up and slammed atop of themis, still not in the "these ghosts are totes the victims here" mode. "What the hell?!" Then it was quiet, and when Same looked up, the portal was gone. "Hey! Hey, where'd it go?! Did it move or something?" He sat up, off of themis now, looking at the others and around them, finally honing in on Re. "What the HELL just happened?!" Her breakdown didn't make him feel any better. If the brains had lost hope, things would not be in their favor. He came over to her, pressing his bang-covered forhead against her glowing one. "Hey...Re...calm down, okay?"

Themis: She smiled at him, ah okay he was okay. That's good. She looked at Re when Same asked her something, suddenly she had a heavy sharpedo on top of her and she could see the ghosts coming through. "What?! what's going on?" She jerked up once Same did and pointed where the portal was. "Oh no...oh no..." The portal was gone?! Where did it go!? How would they get back home?! Her chest tightened and she felt like she couldn't breath. She watched Same go over and try to calm Re down, she didn't think she'd be able too. Her mind was losing it, how to get home, her library, her house, everyone there. The leaders! How would they find the leaders. She covered her mouth and hugged her knees with her free hand. "......" She was speechless, if the portals closed...did that mean this was just a waste of time? They'd all thrown themselves in here to save their leaders and all it did was strand them somewhere. She started shaking, okay no don't...you can't think that was Themis. But....what where they going to do?

Quinton was standing with his arms crossed and toes tapping in annoyance. He really didn't like that Themis had gone into the portal alone, and he blamed Same for letting it happen. But... Themis loved him. He guessed. For whatever reason. So he wasn't exactly allowed to verbally abuse him if he wanted to stay on Themis's good side and stay friends. That wouldn't stop his disapproving looks though. Blue eyes stared coldly at the couple, until he heard Layne beside him. "Pfft," he rolled his eyes at the ghost, smirking up at him, "You definitely were. You're doing it right now. Your face is gonna get stuck like--" His ears dropped and tail frizzed out and body tensed for action. The rustle of Same moving and the two of them yelling. What in the-? The ghosts came flooding back in through the portal, fear and dread filling his chest as he watched them crowd their way in. Instinct kicked in and he moved in front of Layne, spreading his arms and growling at any ghost that got too close to them. He knew they were victims. But he also knew they were being controlled somehow and he'd be damned if he let that happen to Layne, or let Layne be mistaken for one of them. Still- it was odd that they were all coming back and that the portal was closing..... wait WHAT. The portal was closing?! It was over before he could even comprehend it was happening. The opening sealed itself off, and sealed them inside. They were stuck. Staggering back into Layne in shock, he wasn't able to keep his footing and fell to his knees. "W-what...." How would they get home? How would they find their friends? Was there even a guarantee anymore that this is where they were taken? Staring wide eyed and open mouthed at the spot where their ticket home just was, trembling hands patted his coat pockets. Thankfully he rarely left the house without his cigarettes, because he sure as hell needed one right now.

Layne: "Shu-" Cut off when he heard screams, his ears perked up and eye watched as the planet was quickly filling back in with ghosts. Confused, he floated there dumbly and didn't raise finger as Quinton rose to the occasion and protected him. What was that about? The portal closed. Welp, who was the weakest link because they were probably going to be food? Quinton? Possibly, but Re could be a candidate... Or Stardust. Wait, no Stardust was out of the running thanks to Same. Whoever it was didn't really matter, just so long as it wasn't him. Thinking it over for a moment longer, he wondered if ghosts were edible? He'd never tried it himself and had only seen a few ghost types made into food before. Either way, it wasn't likely that the ghosts would share what little food that they might have. Oh, never mind. It sounded like they were going to go head first into fighting the person behind all this drama... Frowning, Layne wished there was a way that he could get out of this without doing all that work.

Re: She was vaguely aware that someone was talking to her, vaguely aware that she was needed... but there was a beep from her pocket signifying that it was offline... they were lost and alone, adrift in non-alliance space. The umbreon growled "Stay with Themis" As she stood to her feet, rings on her tail and ears glowing brighter than they ever have. The gem on her forehead glowed white and even her eyes, her tears were glowing with an intensity that only this level of loss and fear could bring. The little fox made her way to where the portal once glowed, and she placed a hand in the space that it once inhabited. The air around her seemed to shift, and the air that once held the portal glowed, swirling until finally the tablet at her waist let out a soft beep. the glowing around the girl finally dimmed and she fell to the ground, feelign drained, but she was smiling, pulling out her tablet and holding it up. "May not be home, but we got something." The screen showed levels and various numbers. "I know where the creator of this portal is." She let out a small laugh, before layin back, catchign her breath.

Hikaru: The litwick walked around, little flames glowing and floating out from him as he called for anyone who needed his help. As a member of Sector Seven he took it upon himself to help all that he could to safety before protecting the ship. "Hello! If you are in need of help, or can hear my voice please respond. I am Hikaru, and I am here to help anyone who needs me."

Mei jumped as the portal snapped shut. Whoever was in there- wouldn't be coming back anytime soon. On the little station of information she had found; a little message popped up. Avoiding talking; she sent him coordinates to where she was and sighed. SHe waited for a few minutes, when a cold breeze brisked her legs. She spun around-- as a large icy portal appeared. Frost on the rim, shooting out cold air and angry ice type pokemon. In a panic, she fumbled backwards, as they began hurling snowballs at her. She shrieked and shivered under the cold, trying to throw back any ice- or at least stand up without slipping on it.

Same: She stood and told him to go to Themis. He turned his head and his heart sank seeing her completely freaking out. Why was it that the two girls that were the most gung ho just moments before had suddenly melted into puddles of woe? Like, maybe he just didn't understand how portals worked? Yeah, he has no idea how portals work. He moved back over to Themis and sat behind her. He had to hug her with his legs. A hug wouldn't really feel great from a guy with rough skin. He tried anyway, moving close enough where just his biceps were touching her skin. He still had to rest his forearms on her knees. "Shhh. Hey. It's fine. We'll get it together." The ghosts swarmed around them chaoticly, but didn't seem to attack. Odd.

~On the other side of space, back on the station, new portals spliced into the air. Frosty wisps chilled the ship's temperature down quickly. It wasn't until after the temp change that the pokemon began to emerge. bearartic, glalie, vanillite, and a HUGE Abomasnow that crawled its way out of the portal beside mei. Two sneasel riding its shoulders. Again, the pokemon seemed more interested in causing havoc and theft than anything else, but those that stood against them were in for a good fight!~

Themis: She nearly felt like shutting down, what was the point of any of this if they were just stuck here forever? She swallowed hard and tried to hold back tears when she felt Same sit down behind her. She leaned back against him, she had her other outfit on she her legs and arms were covered. Focusing on his breathing to relax she watched Re do...something. She wasn't sure. It seemed to be working and when she finally heard her she jerked up, grabbing the rough skin of Same's hands. "Where? Are they near by?" They could be on a different freakin planet. She shouldn't get her hopes up about this...but if they were there....

It had taken more tries than he would have liked to get a light going. His fingers just wouldn't work right for him, and he still felt jittery even as he sucked in his first breath of sweet, sweet nicotine. Closing his eyes and tilting his head back he let loose a shaky plume of smoke. Bringing his cigarette to his lips again he let it hang there limply, trying to calm himself by focusing on the smell, the taste... A couple of occasional beeps interrupted his attempts at clearing his head and letting his body relax. Peeking open his eyes again and dropping his head back down he did a quick headcount. Same seemed fine. Woo hoo he supposed. Themis was clearly distressed but otherwise unharmed. Good. Glancing up he found Layne intact- though seeming rather annoyed? Overall the Gengar seemed highly underwhelmed given their situation. But at least he was okay... Re, on the other hand, he found laying on the ground and looking exhausted. Worry started to build up when he finally heard her speak. "You know where-?" scrambling to his feet he wobbled over to Re, still stunned and feeling pretty sick about being stuck. Dropping down beside her he gave the tablet the briefest of looks- not like he understood any of that crap- then turned a begging expression on the little Umbreon. "I know it's a long shot," he mumbled around his cig, "but can you tell if the others are there too?"

Layne: Uuuuugh, no. Layne's face fell even more as he heard Themis start to get into this whole 'epic journey' thing where they would go fight the baddies and save the day. Turning away in disinterst, Layne caught sight of something orange a couple of feet away. !!! Wait, that was his doll! Sure enough, that Duskull from before was holding his precious doll. Growling, he floated up to the Duskull and looming over it. "Give it back." He demanded in a low voice which made the Duskull jump. Not giving the Duskull the chance, Layne grabbed at it's little hood thing and yanked his doll out of the Duskull's hands. Pulling the Duskull up to his level, Layne grinned maliciously at it. "You know, I was just thinking about how I'm now stuck here. It might be a long time till I can get some food in my belly again. I wonder if Duskull's are eatable?" The Duskull screamed in fear which caught the attention of some other ghost types that were still floating about and mourning what was left of the ruins. "Too bad there isn't a fire type around... Or would I even need to cook a ghost type?"

Re: She offered a crooked grin to Quinton and looked at her tablet screen, typing a few things in, and the nanomites from their gloves swarmed and made their way to the ice planet where the source of the creepiness seemed to be coming from. The nanomites spread around teh ice planet, creating a map on her screen and, after a moment, showing dots that were life forms. "This answer your question? The scan is showing me here that there is at least one life form over on that planet with a tablet or electronic device that works on the same frequency as mine... meaning there is a small cluster of people from the alliance on that planet." She shrugged. "I may or may not be a genius but... I am guessing that group is a preeetty good candidate for our leaders." The umbreon then looked down. "But they are on another planet that as of right now I cannot think of a way for us to get to..."

Hikaru: He heard sounds of fighting and ran to the hub, golden eyes scanning for anyone who needed his help. "Hello! Can anyone hear my voice?" His call echoed through the little flames that were floatign out from him, winding through the ship to find anyone who needed his assistance.

Same: He hated it when people cried. It was disarming and he didn't have encouraging things to say. Seriously, what would sound genuine coming out of his mouth right now? He was racking his brain about it, when suddenly Re started spouting out answers like a hope machine. Oh thank Arceus. What the hell had she even done? Was that something the hoverboard gauntlet thing could do? He'd have to ask her later. Right now it sounded like they knew where the leaders were. It was a start, but unless space travel was like swimming, there'd be no way to do something about it. He sighed and looked up at the sky...two moons? Weird planet. Water here would be crazy if it existed. Oh no...there's no water on this planet? He FINALLY started to feel a little panic. This wasn't a good vaca spot at all!

~The giant portal above the spire was the source of most of the cold. The fire started by the lampent and litwick had been put out as ice began to form and spread over the hub. If it continued, the whole station would be in turmoil. The ice pokemon didn't seem to mind it at all. It was easy enough to walk on the terrain for them. Some of the citizens could barely stand, others sliding from object to object as best they could.~

Ara-Bella She squealed loudly as she ran down the halls wearing a huge blanket over her shoulders, Each patch of ice she hit she splayed out like she was surfing around on them. Squeals and giggles were all that could be heard around her. She had wondered where everyone was but... meh she just woke up and it was like a snow day for all~ she wondered if it was christmas or something. As she turned down a hall she surfed her way down before she saw a little wisp enter her field of vision and screeched since she figured a person was on their way across the hall she tried to put the breaks on it even causing a smal earth quake to break up the ice, this didnt help it just ended with her hitting a ridged part and flying face first into the ending wall of the hall. "owowowowowowowowowowowow"she hit the ground and held her face.

Aristelle: A wicked smirk came across her lips, for a moment she realized this was her enviroment her best work was done in the cold. Thought that ended quickly with the sight of the Giant beasts that stood before them she switched guns quickly, this one marked with a flame, trying to decide on what to do with the whole thing. She looked over the three and figured what they were her mind kep splitting from the tablet and getting ahold of the others to the ice beasts to the ice itself and the cold. Arist needed something to level her thoughts to one important thing at a time.

Themis: She slumped back against Same, what did it matter if they knew where the leaders were if it was on another planet and the portals weren't here. It's not like they could make a wish, wishes aren't real. She glared at Layne', he was such an ass. She couldn't stand people like him. She tried to think of something, anything, they could do. She rubbed her eyes and tried to think. Captain Asha's a jirachi....they grant wishes right? Or was that just some fairy tale story? "....Re, do you think there might be a chance to contact them? The leaders I mean? Or could their be anyway to get to them?" It might be worth a shot. Even if it was a long shot.

Did this..? Uh, no it didn't really answer his question he didn't know what any of those symbols and dots meant.... Oh. Oh! He grabbed the screen and pulled it a little closer to his face. It still didn't make sense, but if Re said it could be their leaders then that was enough hope for him. He grinned at the dots, then down at Re, back to the dots, and over at the rest of the group. "That could be... you might have found.... Lyra.... guys! Re might have found them!" True they had no conceivable way off the ghost planet, but they had a lead. A lead was better than stuck there waiting for death. All they needed next was a plan and- What in the hell was Layne doing? That poor thing was newly dead, and now he was scaring the crap out of it! Arceus he couldn't leave the guy alone for two damned seconds. "Hey!" Standing up he marched over to the pair and faltered a little once he got closer wow hey that face Layne was making was.... fairly attractive.... wow. What. Shaking his head to push away badly timed, unwarranted thoughts he reeled back and punched the Gengar in the arm. It was much gentler than his previous blow, but only because his newfound sensitivity to the plight of ghosts made him want to hold back until Layne really deserved a beat down. Which at this rate he was sure the other Pokemon would. "Be nice! The poor thing is newly dead and probably scared out of its mind! You're not helping," he scolded from around his cigarette, glaring up at Layne. Quinton didn't doubt for a second that Layne would seriously try to eat the sad little Duskull. "What did it ever do to you anyway? Why are you--" Something in Layne's hand caught his eye. A little splash of orange that he was sure the other didn't have on him earlier. "Is that the doll I gave you?" The Glameow flicked his gaze from it up to Layne's face, amusement trickling in past his anger and confusion, tugging at his lips. "Did you seriously follow this thing all the way out here just to get that doll back?"

Layne: Shaking the little Duskull around a bit to try and get his point across, he was just about to finish up with the other ghost when a sharp pain radiating through his arm. Dropping the Duskull, which ran away to hide inside the ruins, he shot whoever punched him a nasty look. "Be nice? I was being nice." The Gengar couldn't hide the grumpy pout that was forming on his face. "Nice for something that stole from me... Tell that jerk to be nice." Grumbling the longer he went on, he reached rubbed the sore spot on his arm and looked in the direction he saw the Duskull run. That is, till Quinton noticed the doll and started teasing him. "No." He quickly hide the doll behind his back, his face turning a shade darker. "I mean, yeah... I guess? I like her and I haven't been able to use her to play any prank on anyone yet, so I had to get her back. That and she's technically the only doll that I actually own, so she's important in that sense I guess."

Re: She powered on her gauntlet. "I may be able t reach her, just let me focus." she focused on that new power she had found, the one that left her glowing, and the air around her shivering. He hands held her tablet as she focused and finally the symbol on her tablet that said Asha flipped to online, her still glowing eyes looked at her friends as she started to type. "Captain, this is Re Nacht. We are lost on a ghost planet, but have locked on to your coordinates. I know this is a long shot but I do have one thing I want to say with the utmost seriousness... I wish my team was with you." She hit send and the glow around her dimmed. She looked around. "I have contacted Asha... now we wait for a response" She sat up and waited.

Hikaru: The Litwick was alerted to a tugging feeling as he recieved word from one of his little ghost flames. They must have found someone. Being careful to avoid any possible attacks, he floated silently to where a woman lay on the ground. He smiled softly and held out a gloved hand to help her up. "Hello there, you look like you need some help"

Asha:
The Jirachi stirred, shivering in the pure white room she was in. Looking around, she saw her leaders laying much as they were seated in the Spire during the meeting when they disappeared. She sat up, looking around for the source of the beeping that had awoken her. She looked at her tablet, and a smile flashed across her face. Her eyes glowed purple ans she whispered to the leaders minds. "Wake up..."

Nika: *Nnmng..." she groaned as she clawed her hands into the ground and tried to get herself up. What had happened? It was so cold... did something happen to the ship? Was she sucked into space, or even dead? Remembering that she was on solid ground though, she discarded that thought. There wouldn't be anything to touch in space, well, unless she was hit by a comet. And if she was a ghost, would be intangible wouldn't she? When she heard Asha calling to wake up, she groaned again and tried to sit herself up despite the shivering pain she was in. "A-A-Asha? Wh-where are we?" she asked as she opened her eyes and stood up, noticing they were in some strange white room with freezing temperature. She crossed her arms as she shivered and tensed as she enveloped her hips wings with fire to try and warm herself up, though with how cold it was, would take a long while.

Phoenix: Phoenix suddenly heard Ashas voice in his head and after stirring slightly slowly opened his eyes. He squeezed them shut again as blinding white stung his eyes forcing him to turn to his side in an attempt to shield them. After a minute or two he slowly managed to push himself up and began to blink again and again until his eyes adjusted to the bright light.

Same: Okay. cool. Shit was happening. Perfect. How long did communications like this take to travel? I mean this is off the grid right? No, but Re just got back on the grid. So it'd be like...5 minutes, tops? Same sighed. He had no idea what was going on. He was just glad SOMETHING was getting done. "Great. What should we do until then?" He looked over at Quinton and Layne as they bickered at each other. They'd gotten pretty close. Misery loves company, he guessed. Themis seemed to be a little more calm. A tiny bit. He rubbed her sleeved shoulders. Then there was Re. She was definitely holdin' her own, maybe even leading the team...but she didn't seem stable. Maybe that's what full knowledge of the situation looked like. He kept getting the feeling that he should be a lot more worried.
Lyra:// She gasped as she jerked to life, her eyes fading out of a glowing purple to match asha's from her magical demand. Her pupils dialated and she brought a hand up immediately to shield them. Stark white walls, and cold. So cold. "Where are we, captain?" She shuttered out after gaining control of her shaking jaw. They'd need both nika and phoenix's fire in order to warm this place up. Was this a freezer or something? She looked around at the other leaders as they regained consciousness.

~Several Glalie were smashing into things like little icy wrecking balls. Sneasel clamored in after them to snag from places. The vanillite seemed mostly preoccupied with just making things colder. The more ice, the better. When Ara broke up the ice with her earthquake, they floated over and touched the ground, making more of it form over. They started to swarm the two of them in that area. The Abomasnow turned and roared when aristelle drew her weapon. A fight might start, but could she take on 3 by herself?~

Ara-Bella: She continued to cry even though someone was there, Ara rubbed her face and looked up at the other screaming out and trying to crawl away. This only failed as she slid closer to the other because ice hates you. She ducked her head into her blanket "NO ONE IS HOME YOU CAN GO ON YOUR WAY IM ONLY A HALUSIONATION!!! Im evil!" she tried to use her scariest voice but it just came off as frightened. As she was trying to hide in her blanket ice shield she found herself just rolling inside the blanket until it completely uncovered her and she was hiding only by covering her face. Because if she cant see you You obviously cant see her, logic of a 400 year old dragon everyone!

Themis: She perked up when Re made contact, able to relax fully against Same's comforting embrace. She smiled a bit, "Don't over work yourself Re." She looked up at Same and stroked his cheek. Okay so if she was right and Asha could grant wishes they'd be able to get to the leaders. And maybe find out who was doing this and find a way back onto the ship! Her eyes sparked again with new determination. They were totally gonna kick ass. She grinned at him and poked his check. "Saaame, we're totally gonna kick butt!" Aw yeah.
:iconjirachistation:

In which ice happens on the station, and the 5 citizens stuck on the ghost planet freak out but eventually pull it together.

Thanks to Re's new move: Secret Power, she...extended the reach of her tablet. I dunno, its something about communications and it's great and you wouldn't understand because it's science. *hair flip, glasses adjust*

anyhow, she found out the leaders were on the ice planet that the portals are open to right now. THIS IS SO IMPORTANT TO KNOW SO JUST READ IT OKAY She managed to get a message to Asha. "I wish my team was with you right now"

CUE LEADERS: yo, if you're a leader we hope to see you in chat soon. this collaborative effort of leader and sector citizens will be all the more badass. Actually...just EVERYONE tomorrow. Come to chat, get a few posts in. *shrugs* it'll be fun!

If you can't make it, I'd consider drawing or writing something that goes along with this. It's just a great jumping off point so I HAD to post it early.
